In fact, we can supply all the hardware you require - whether you are planning to use a tablet, a desktop PC or a fully integrated touchscreen all-in-one till computer - we can do it all.

We can provide you with whatever hardware you require, from a single receipt printer, right up to an all-in-one integrated touchscreen till system.

Most till systems will have a receipt printer, a cash drawer, a barcode scanner and a customer display unit (the small screen that displays information to the customer whilst items are being entered). Back Office machines often have just barcode scanners to enable stock lookup and adjustments.

If you choose to have an on-site installation, our engineers will install and setup all of your machines and peripherals and train you and your staff. If you take out our helpdesk cover too, those same engineers are only a phone call away for the lifetime of your system. We don't have 'first line' support - our helpdesk is manned by the same engineers that install and maintain our systems, so you get straight through to an expert every time.

What does your store require? It's a good question, and is likely to be different for each individual. As a minimum for a small store, we suggest one till machine, and one back office machine. This allows the till to be continuously available to serve customers. Remember too, if you take out our helpdesk cover, you get one Back Office licence completely free.

The Merlio Express software is Windows based, and will run on anything from a Windows Tablet right up to a fully integrated touchscreen system or just an ordinary PC. We can supply all of this hardware and more, so please do contact us to discuss your requirements.

EPOS Till Module

Everything you need in a till for fast, efficient selling. User controlled logins with a sales screen that can handle scanned or typed and barcoded and non-barcoded items alike.

With the touchscreen module enabled, you can set up and design your own 'Hot Keys' which link to items or menus. The built-in touchscreen button editor allows you to create buttons and colour schemes to look however you wish, including photographic buttons and multi-layered menus.

The EPOS system also handles Customer Account sales with ease, and with various global, special or multibuy discounts available too.

Customer and Supplier Accounting

Customer Accounts enables you to hold customer details, process deposits, produce invoices and track payments easily and efficiently. You can keep track of customer interests, and email your customers directly from the Customer Editor. Customers can be set up with automatic discounts, and statements can be sent via email.

The Supplier Editor allows you to keep tracks of which suppliers supply each of your stock lines, as well as place orders - either by paper or email - which can then be brought into stock on delivery.

The system also includes a Customer Reservation system, which allows stock to be reserved for a customer, with a transaction stored and ready to be completed when the customer collects.

Stock Control and Reporting

Stock Management sits at the heart of the system. The Stock Editor can hold all the details of your stock lines, and give you at-a-glance sales figures and stock levels.

The Stock Adjustment facility gives you a fully audited method of controlling stock levels, allowing you to record wastage or to perform stock takes. Supplier orders can also automatically be brought into stock on delivery.

The Merlio Express System Reports contains well over 100 standard reports, all of which can be set to export to programs such as Excel or Word to keep complete track and control of your business. Whether it is slow-moving stock lines or staff performance, the data is all there for you to see.
