Windows Update Issues - Flashing Login Screen or Outlook Problems

The November 2015 Windows Update patch has been causing some issues for people using touch screens. Users will see the login screen flashing and strobing, and will be unable to continue to log into Windows. It has been reported that some users have had issues with Microsoft Outlook crashing also.

The offending patch is Windows Update KB3097877: Microsoft has released an updated version of this update, but if you are experiencing problems with the logon screen then please do not hesitate to call the helpdesk on 08454 300310, and we can help you uninstall the update.

This so far appears to affect those using touch screen systems only.
